We regularly receive questions and queries regarding our club and what we race, below is a list of the most frequently asked questions.

  • What classes do you race?
    • We support any on-road 12th scale classes, including GT12, LMP, MTC, Hotrods, and Minis
    • If you have any queries regarding a car you’d like to race with us, please contact us on facebook or via email
  • When do you run club meetings?
    • Our club meetings are almost every Friday evening, from 6:30pm until around 11pm
    • We start setting up at 6:30pm, with the intention to begin the evening’s racing at 7:30pm
  • Where are your meetings held?
    • We race at Bromham Village Hall, MK43 8JP
  • Can I come and watch?
    • Yes, we do allow spectators but ask that whilst watching you do not disturb those who are racing and do not block any marshals whilst a race is in progress
  • How much does it cost to race?
    • We charge £8 for adults and £6 for children under 16
  • Can I become a member?
    • We currently do not have any kind of official memberships in place, any regular club attendees are considered members
    • We have an AGM once a year, usually around Christmas time and invite anyone who wishes to participate in the discussion around the club or has suggestions for things that they’d like to see change
  • What meeting format do you run?
    • We run 3 qualifying heats of 5 minutes each, and 1 final based on qualifying results
    • The meeting format may change subject to the race director/committees decision, depending on driver numbers and time factors
    • We occasionally run special events that will have a different racing format
  • Do I need to bring tables and chairs?
    • No, we usually have enough tables and chairs for everyone. On busier nights, we ask that tables are shared between two people
    • Please bring a towel or sheet of some kind to cover the tables, as racing can sometimes be messy and we are liable for any damages caused to the venue’s facilities
  • Do I have to book in or can I just turn up?
    • We like to ask those who are sure they will be attending the next club meeting to book in via the form on our website, however if you are unsure if you will be able to race, please let us know either via facebook or email that you are looking to come down
    • There is usually space for everyone to race, but we do have a soft maximum of 30 drivers per meeting, depending on classes being raced
    • If you’re a first time racer, we suggest you book in on our website and let us know either via our facebook page or in the comments section on the form that you’re a first time racer.
